2008 News

  • Aquatic Robotics will be supporting MARE for their upcoming field season off the West Coast
  • We have entered into an agreement with US Underwater Services to provide long term ROV and sonar support services
  • Aquatic Robotics recently completed an in-house service and engineering contract for Deep Ocean Engineering Inc.

2007 News

  • October-In conjuction with Underwater Resources of San Fransisco, CA, Aquatic Robotics was called in to provide a UWILD inspection for the tourist boat "Desert Princess" at Lake Mead, NV
  • October-Aquatic Robotics was called in to provide on sight service of a Deep Ocean Engineering Phantom HD2 ROV on board the 208' Exploration Class Mega-Yaught "Turmoil"
  • October-Aquatic Robotics was awarded the contract to design and build a custom bio-sampling system for the Deep Rover submersibles for a 2008 expedition to the Phoenix Islands.
  • September-Aquatic Robotics personnel attended submersible training school at Chesapeake Submarine Service, Inc. in Maryland
  • August-We are in the process of phase 2 of the VideoRay agreement. The TMS system is being integrated into our in house light work class vehicle to provide fly-out capabilities.
  • August-VideoRay picked up the first TMS prototype for sea trials. The system is complete with 800 ft main lift umbilical, 150W halogen lighting, and color video camera system. The system will be tested on operations off the coast of North Carolina and at sights in Washington state.
  • February-Aquatic Robotics has entered into a agreement with VideoRay to develop a new Tether Management System (TMS) and a fly-out version TMS.
  • January-Aquatic Robotics has joined the Marine & Oceanographic Technology Network (MOTN)
